They are nothing if not loud, obnoxious, and uncoordinated. They take up space on the couch and demand a smooch when I arrive home. They round up cows and bark at the mail lady.
They have been known to start howling in the wee hours of the morning when they hear a coyote in the yard in the distance.
They gift me with dead animals when I least expect it.
During a thunderstorm, one has been known to leap up onto my high four poster bed with a single bound. Whether there was actually space available for him was a secondary thought.
I am thinking they are responsible for the missing door mat, that I actually found in the yard yesterday afternoon.
They are rascals, every last one of them and they give their love and affection to us freely without hesitation.

Sweet puppies! They are amazing, aren't they? xoxo
ReplyDeleteSuch very sweet doggies! We love ours the same way. I'm thinking that perhaps it was the wind that took the doormat to the yard, all of those faces look way too innocent! xo
ReplyDeleteWell you know the saying.....dog spelled backwards is God. How can you go wrong:)
ReplyDeleteOH, how I ADORE the furry babies! (DESPITE all the work they create!)
ReplyDeleteLOVE IT!!
ReplyDeleteOurs are not pets. They are family.
ReplyDeleteLOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE 'em all!!!
ReplyDeleteWithout my K9 I would be lost in the abject misery of what is past, with him I live totally in the present!
ReplyDeleteLove the photos of your K9s!!!
I would like a dog, but never in an apartment...
ReplyDeleteHappy Thanksgiving to ALL your rascals, the ones with two legs and four!

ReplyDeleteOur little "Bella" got grounded last night....Ha!
She had herself an accident on my floor...something that she hardly ever does....so, that area of the house if off limits to her right now..
Hugs.
Ahh....pups getting the recognition they so rightfully deserve. Good post.
ReplyDeleteWonderful post. Sometimes my pups annoy me and then I see their cute little face, droopy eyes, tail wagging and standing up on the glass door begging to come in; and all is good. I know just where you are coming from!
ReplyDeleteAnd perhaps that's why they are our best friends ...
ReplyDeleteThey're all so sweet!!!
ReplyDeleteYa just gotta love that unconditional lovin' they give!!!
ReplyDeleteSweet, yet slobbery post. Heeheehhe!
God bless ya sweetie and have a wonderful Thanksgiving with your family.

Nice work :)
ReplyDeleteWell done
I lost count.. how many fur babies do you have? LOL!
ReplyDeleteWe have one dog and one cat.. the dog sleeps with us and we love him. The cat.. well, she's the last one ever as she's shredded 2 sofas, a club chair and 2 leather recliners. :-)
((hugs)), Teresa :-)
Farmchick, there are rumors that you are working just to earn the dough to buy the puppy chow. I disagreed but now I think I want to take the other side of that argument.
ReplyDeletenothing like those furbabies..they keep us on our toes...nice photos...
ReplyDeleteYou've got to love them. Great b&w photos.
ReplyDeleteLOL on the doormat - someone was having a good time!
ReplyDeleteAww and they are adorable!! Have a beautiful and safe Thanksgiving Day!
ReplyDeleteI have had dogs or a dog all my life. The one I have at the moment, Pepper Jax, beats them all but then none beat Tiger.
ReplyDeleteTiger knew the meaning of 47 words. You or I could say one of those words and he would do or get the word that was in the sentence.
Amazing creatures. I really love them a lot. At the moment, Pepper Jax, who licked my face a lot yesterday morning, also ate a cat turd yesterday afternoon. None to pleased about that....
Oh i love this post! All those sweet wet noses and the love they give unconditionaly. We are so dog people over here too. Love your sons scrunched nose in the last one as he is getting doggies kisses, SO cute!
ReplyDeleteIndeed. And that's why I've had a dog around for going on 50 years now. And Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours... :)
ReplyDeleteJack - We buy dog food in bulk at our local feed store. Seriously! lol
ReplyDeleteTeresa - We have four dogs at the moment. It can get a little crazy!
ReplyDeleteA great set of dogs, this "rogues gallery" make them look like real characters in more ways than one..
ReplyDeleteAmen !
