Spring break is upon us here at the farmette. We are fortunate to have travel plans this summer, so this week is just for catching up on life....and chores.
It does include morning coffee on the front porch with a friend and listening to the wild turkeys and neighbor's rooster.
This week, though just beginning, has had its fair share of time with the garden hoe and wheelbarrow.
It has also included a full trailer of mulch to be shoveled onto the landscaping beds.
Here is just a small sample of our work. There was a lot of mulch on that trailer...trust me.
Also on the agenda....new hardwood floor for the downstairs hallway (good times!), planting various things, and putting the finishing touches on the beehive project.
It's all busy, but it's all good.
Looks like a busy, but fun time. And it looks like spring has arrived to your ranchette. Enjoy!
