When it rains here it doesn't just pour, it comes a complete monsoon. Our internet service has been out for the past few days and we didn't realize how much we rely on it out here in the boondocks. Movies, ipods, e-mail, and the instant weather report have all become essential.
Also, the oven quite working, the pool hose sprung a gargantuan leak, and the hydraulic lever on the tractor doesn't work.
While moving a piece of man furniture into the house, the guys tore off the kitchen cabinet door.
It has been quite the weekend! On the flip side of this craziness the bees seem to be thriving as well as the two kids who reside at the farmette. Yes, and the adults have survived as well.
PTL

laughing! here i thought you were talking about real rain for a second there. :)
ReplyDeleteMust be that gigantic full moon getting things all out of kilter...
ReplyDeleteLooks like things are falling apart, hang on ! ... sure you' will fix them !
ReplyDeleteIsn't it crazy how much we rely on all things electronic and when they are "off" for a short bit of time, we almost don't know what to do with ourselves. I like all the conveniences, having started out the beginning of my married life with no electricity or phone for many years. I have done without but I would rather not now. But it did teach me to be frugal with what I have.
ReplyDeletehaha...oh my...what a weekend!
ReplyDeleteAnd I thought my week was bad. Still you survived and shared some lovely photos with us. Have a great start to your week.
ReplyDeleteGlad about your bees and the rest? Well sounds like a farm with a bunch of man cubs! Your pics are great.
ReplyDeleteWhat a crazy week
ReplyDeleteI hope Monday morning brings you the start of a great week.....you deserve it!
ReplyDeleteIt's never good when the internet connection goes kaput. It's all downhill from there! Ugh. Here's hoping your cabinet door is back in place soon!
ReplyDeleteOh gee, I would have cried over the cabinet door! Hope it's not too expensive to get everything back into working order!
ReplyDeleteDo you make honey?
Sorry for your flooded week! But your photos rock! I like that last one. Hope this week brings better fortune to you.
ReplyDeleteOh WOW, it has been pouring aroung there. Yes, until we are without the internet none of us want to admit how much we depend on it.
ReplyDeleteSo happy to hear that the bees, the kids and you are surviving this little glitch.
Loved the pictures of your daughter and her team. We are spending much of our time these days at the ballpark too. Fun,fun.
